Jasmine McMullin is a junior at Western Washington University. At the 2016 University of Washington Indoor Invitational on Jan. 30, she placed ninth in the triple jump with an NCAA II provisional mark and a personal best of 11.8 meters (38 feet 8.75 inches).

The effort improved her second-best mark in WWU track history.

McMullin added a 10th-place finish at the UW Indoor Classic on Feb. 13.

McMullin, a 2013 Sequim High graduate, was named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Track and Field All-Academic Team in May 2015. The English major posted a 3.90 grade-point average.
