Andrew Gunstone and David Richards topped Kingston’s No. 2 doubles team of Cody Combs and Brady Sundquist, 6-0 and 6-2.

Sequim improved to 6-0 in league and 10-3 overall after finishing a 7-0 shutout of Chimacum/Port Townsend on Oct. 6, not losing a single set. Maloney, Lam and Hill posted wins in singles action.

Sequim’s Gunstone and Duncan Skinner topped James Campbell and Brian DeDominick, 6-1 and 6-1, while Emanuel Herrera and Jeremy Huls beat Roland McEdwards and Danny Nelson, 6-3 and 6-1.

The Wolves complete their regular season this week aiming for a league title. Sequim was slated to take on Bremerton at home on Oct. 12 – results of the match were unavailable at press time.

Sequim is at rival Port Angeles on Oct. 13.

The Wolves battle for West Central District berths at a 2A sub-district tournament on Oct. 15, 18 and 19.

The district tournament coincides with the girls tennis postseason in May.
