The Sequim-Dungeness Hospital Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim. All members are urged to attend, and the public is invited.
Marie O’Neill will be the guest speaker. A certified life coach with White Locust Life Coaching, she will address widowhood survival and self-esteem and belief systems.
The Sequim-Dungeness Hospital Guild Thrift Shop is a nonprofit organization that raises funds through donated and consigned articles for resale, membership dues, Cards for Cardiac and donations.
The money supports community services. The guild has raised more than $1.6 million to provide these services.
The guild provides life-saving equipment to enable paramedics and emergency medical technicians of Clallam County Fire District 3 to perform emergency and medic services, medical equipment to Olympic Medical Center and scholarships to students who are being trained in the medical field.
The Thrift Shop desperately needs volunteers to work a minimum of two half-days a month.
Potential volunteers should visit the shop at 204 W. Bell St., Sequim, or call 683-7044.
