Flamingo flocks are on their way

That fundraiser disguised as a bunch of plastic lawn ornaments is back. Parents of graduating high school seniors will be “flocking” lawns in the Sequim area for a four-week-long fundraiser starting April 8. The group asks a $25 “fee” to remove flocks and a $10 charge to send the flock along. All money raised goes to fund a post-graduation, drug- and alcohol-free party in June. For more information about the program, call Virginia O’Neil at 460-6692 or Heidi Johnson at 670-5455. Submitted photo
