SARC sets annual closure, announces new rates
The Sequim Aquatic Recreation Center is closed Sept. 6-19 for scheduled annual maintenance.
This year’s maintenance includes a laundry list of items, from refurbishing the racquetball court floors to installing new drain covers, repainting the bottom of the small pool, re-grouting tile in the pool area and more.
SARC reopens at 5:45 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 20.
Since the facility will not be open for most of the month, there will not be any fitness classes offered. The center is offering fitness classes again in October with a new lower price. Beginning Oct. 1, all one-hour water and land fitness classes are $2 per session when an annual or six-month passholder signs up for the month. Class drop-in fee is $4.
