It’s time to start thinking about back to school immunizations for the 2016-2017 school year.
To assure your child is caught up with his or her required vaccinations for school or daycare entry, visit your private provider or one of the clinics listed below at Clallam County Health & Human Services.
For current requirements you may access the Washington State Department of Health website at: www.doh.wa.gov/CommunityandEnvironment/Schools/Immunization.
In Port Angeles
Clallam County Health and Human Services offers vaccination clinics every Wednesday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Port Angeles Office, 111 E. Third St. Clinics are walk-in. No appointments are needed.
Bring prior immunization records for faster service.
For more information, call 417-2274.
All back to school immunizations will be offered. Vaccinations will include Tdap, DTap, Hepatitis B, MMR, varicella and meningococcal. Vaccinations cost $23 per vaccination plus a $30 office visit.
The office can bill Apple Health (Medicaid); bring your medical identification card with you.
The office does not bill private insurances but can provide a receipt to send to private insurance companies.
