Concerned citizens from across the North Olympic Peninsula are joining the GMO Awareness Group (GAG, headquartered in Sequim) and others  worldwide to raise awareness about GMOs in our food supply. A "World Food Day Rally" is slated for 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at the intersection of East Front Street and First Avenue in Port Angeles.

Food Day rallies will be held in about 400 major cities around the world, event organizers say.
