The state Department of Transportation has notified the Sequim School District’s transportation department of possible upcoming changes to the U.S. Highway 101 construction project that will affect some bus stops. “Bambi” bus route stops that will be affected are from Barr Road and east of Barr Road. These changes will only take effect when traffic is changed from the old section of Highway 101 to the new highway section.
Jeff Gossage, director of transportation for the Sequim School District, advises that these changes should take place on or about Jan. 6. To view diagrams of the affected stops on the Bambi bus route, and for updates, visit the district website at www.sequim.k12.wa.us.
