Briones helps SW Oregon qualify for NWAACC tourney

The Southwestern Oregon softball team qualified for the NWAACC championship for the fifth consecutive season.

Helping the Lakers was first baseman Demiree Briones, a 2012 Sequim High School graduate. Briones hit .333 with a home run and 19 RBIs.

Southwestern Oregon went 1-2 at the NWAACC tournament, May 18-20, in Portland, Ore.
