Members of Sequim Rainbow Girls collected more than 100 pounds of cat food at a food drive they hosted at Petco on May 30.

As a service project for rescue cats and kittens, the girls belonging to the international nonprofit organization aimed at teaching life skills donated the much needed cat food to Peninsula Friends of Animals, a nonprofit, cageless, no-kill cat adoption and shelter.
