The season is still early, but the Lady Wolves (3-0 overall) look poised for a repeat Olympic League Championship this year.
Following a rainout in Bremerton on March 25, Sequim won another close set of matches 4-3 over rival Port Angeles on March 27 before going on spring break.
Melanie Guan, playing number one singles, defeated Callie Peet 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 while Hannah Gauthun, number two singles, beat Lydia Cornelson 6-0, 6-0 and Maggie Christie blanked Audra Perrizo 6-0, 6-0.
Sequim’s No.1 doubles team, Cheyenne Sokkappa and Heidi Stallman, defeated Hannah Little and McKenna Thompson 6-3, 6-2 for the Lady Wolves’ other varsity win on the day.
Following spring break, the team plays in Klahowya on April 8 and hosts Olympic on April 10.
