Get prime seats for Irrfest parade

The public is invited to watch the Irrigation Festival Parade, Saturday, May 9, starting at noon. The parade route is through downtown Sequim on Washington Street.

The Sequim Irrigation Festival Grand Parade has been hosted and staged by the Rotary Club of Sequim (aka Sequim Noon Rotary) as a service to the community since 1960. This popular event draws entries from Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap counties and beyond. This is truly a community parade.

Parade entries include the festival Grand Marshal and Pioneers, festival float and other floats from around the state, bands from around the state, community groups, businesses, service groups and children’s groups.

For a good seat at the parade, the Sequim Noon Rotary offers front row seating for just $3 adjacent to the reviewing stand on Washington Street near Thomas Building Center, the best spot in the whole parade route. Tickets can be purchased before parade day at Beal Carpet and Drapery, 213 E. Washington St. Ste. 4, or Jim Carl Insurance at 369 W. Washington St. Tickets also will be sold the day of the parade if there still are seats available.
