Milestone: PA Lions help animal shelter

The Port Angeles Lions Club built a handicapped accessible ramp for Kitty City, the cat building at the new Olympic Peninsula Humane Society location at 1743 Old Olympic Highway.

Workers donated over 85 hours to complete the ramp which was ramp No. 117 for the club.

OPHS moved to its new location nearly one month ago and is open to the public from 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday. The shelter is closed on Sunday.
