‘Charlotte’s Web’ is featured film
On Saturday, Feb. 6, the Sequim Library, at 630 N. Sequim Ave., offers a free a screening of “Charlotte’s Web,” based on the beloved children’s novel by E.B. White.

Symphony sets concerts
The Port Angeles Symphony presents a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Port Angeles High School Auditorium, 304 E. Park Ave.; and an encore recital at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, at Maier Hall on the Peninsula College campus. Tickets are $5/$10 for the 10 a.m. final rehearsal on Saturday and $30/$20 for the evening concert.
Tickets for the recital and reception on Sunday are $25. Tickets for are available at Port Book and News and the symphony office in Port Angeles; The Good Book in Sequim; and Sequim Village Glass in Carlsborg.
Cellist Julian Schwartz is featured.
Community Players announce tryouts
Port Angeles Community Players host tryouts for “Noises Off.” They are at 7 p.m., Feb. 5-6 the Port Angeles Community Playhouse, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd. Call backs are Feb. 7.
Five men and four women of various ages are needed.
The play runs April 29-May 15, Friday, Saturday and Tuesday nights and Sunday afternoons. Rehearsals begin in mid-February.
