60 Seconds to Smiles

Friday afternoon was all about letting off a little steam at Sequim Middle School.

About 350 students attended the annual Minute to Win It assembly on Friday, Jan. 24, where select students competed in over-the-top games such as stacking brownies on their head, stacking dice on a tongue dispenser and dropping mints into diet soda. The rewards assembly allowed students to to attend if they had turned in all of their assignments, held no unexcused absences and no referrals. Organizers plan to do another rewards assembly called Fear Factor with daring and gross events on June 13.
