Milestones: Rowing group received donation

Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association recently received a generous donation of $1,500 dedicated to providing rowing program scholarships to local youth with financial challenges. “I applaud OPRA for making this opportunity available to young people that may not have the resources to participate in rowing activities,” the donor said.

“This donation for scholarship support made it possible for OPRA to pursue its goal of making this rowing program available to every part of the community this summer. We are very thankful for this anonymous donation, our very first donation aimed specifically at providing scholarship support,” said OPRA officials.
