Sequim Marital Arts gets magazine coverage

Sequim Martial Arts recently was selected August School of the Month by the Tae Kwon Do Times.

"Kind of a big deal in the martial arts world," said instructor Kathrin Sumpter.

Tae Kwon Do Times is an international magazine and the only martial arts publication devoted to Tae Kwon Do.

"This is such an honor," Sumpter said. "I threw our name in the ring with an essay, photos and details about some of our programs and accomplishments. They must have liked what they saw because they chose us over many applicants from all over the world, and we got this terrific two-page spread."
