Mat Rats are back

Sequim Mat Rats returns at 5:15-6:30 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday from March 8-31 at the Sequim Community School Gymnasium, 221 W. Fir St.

The program offers an introduction to wrestling for boys and girls in grades 1-6.

Cost is $35 per child or an extra $15 per child. T-shirts included; $10 for extra children.

McTakeover benefits gymnastics team

Klahhane Gymnastics in Port Angeles will have a McTakeover at the Sequim McDonald’s from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, as a benefit to raise $1,000 to help offset team costs.

The team receives a percentage of McDonald’s sales during the two-hour benefit.
