Disabled employment recognized

On Oct. 14 the Board of Clallam County Commissioners proclaimed the month of October as Disability Employment Awareness Month in Clallam County and publicly recognized employers in Clallam County who employ people with developmental disabilities.

Employers recognized from Port Angeles were: A-1 Performance, Albertsons, Clallam County Hostelries, Clallam Transit, Common Grounds Café, DSHS, Feiro Marine Life Center, Goodwill Industries, Jack in the Box, Lee Shore Boats, McDonald’s, Morningside, Olympic Laundry & Cleaners, Olympic Medical Center, Pacific Office Equipment, Safeway, Walmart, Wolfley Law Office and YMCA.

Employers from Sequim were: Caring Hands Learning Center, Dungeness Courte, Goodwill Industries, Holiday Inn Express, Karen’s Accounting Service Inc., King’s Way Foursquare Church, Pacific Bay International, Safeway, Sequim Community School, Sun Baked Landscaping.
