Fourth Friday Features Poet from Providence

Writers on the Spit will feature poet Geoff Bowman at the Fourth Friday Readings on June 24.

The free event begins at 6:30 p.m. in the upstairs media room at The Lodge, 660 Evergreen Farm Way in Sequim.

Bowman, native to Providence, R.I., wrote as a youngster but stopped over four decades ago.

Five years ago, Bowman found his muse and began writing again.

Following the featured speaker, there will be an hour of 5-minute open mic readings. Interested writers may submit their names before the event begins.
