Stoicism considered

The Rev. Amanda Aikman will speak at the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road, Agnew, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 4.

Her message, “A Great Mess,” looks at the philosophy of Stoicism, its practical use and how it teaches a graceful and dignified way to face the difficulties of the great mess of life, even leading to liberation and peace.

Sunday service times change at PEFC

Peninsula Evangelical Friends Church is moving Sunday morning service times to 9 a.m. beginning June 4. There will be no Sunday School classes offered during the summer months. The church is located on the Old Olympic Highway between Port Angeles and Sequim at the corner of North Barr Road.

All are invited to attend services. PEFC is a Quaker church in the Evangelical tradition and has been serving the Port Angeles and Sequim areas since 1937.
