The schedule doesn’t get any easier.
Sequim’s Wolves found out how tough the Olympic League can be last week, dropping a pair of decisions to 3A schools.
On Oct. 6, Bremerton’s Knights got five first-half goals on their way to a 9-0 shutout in Bremerton.
Hallee Worrall and Courtney Williams each scored twice as Bremerton got seven of its nine scores unassisted.
Two days later at home, Sequim got the first score against their rivals from Port Angeles as freshman Kayla Hagberg took a pass from Kyla Hall for her second score of the season at the 14th minute.
But the Roughriders answered back quickly as Paxton Rodocker scored 10 minutes later to knot that game at 1-1 at halftime.
Port Angeles added four second-half goals for a 5-1 win, two of them coming from Abbie Moseley.
Jaime Curtis and Neeya Hansen also had goals for Port Angeles (6-4-0).
The Wolves (0-7-1 in league play, 1-8-1 overall) were scheduled to play Olympic in Silverdale on Oct. 13 – results were unavailable at press time. Sequim travels back to Silverdale on Oct. 20 for a game against Klahowya and goes to Kingston Oct. 22 to play the Buccaneers.
Sequim hosts Port Townsend on Oct. 27.
