Sequim riders saw a number of strong performances at District 4’s first meet of the season, held Jan. 24-26 in Spanaway, highlighted by a pair of first place finishes by Anne Meek.
Meek took first in barrels and figure eight, and added a second place finish in breakaway roping and third place in steer daubing.
Sequim’s drill working fours — Meek, Sydney Balkan, Kaytee Gibeau and Chelsea Smith — earned a third-place finish.
