WOW! forum focuses in on Medicare Part D

Vivian Brown presents a free WOW! Working on Wellness Forum titled “Ask Your Pharmacist About Medicare Part D” set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave.

A pharmacy manager at Walgreens, Brown said she sees the forum as an opportunity to share what she has learned about the trajectory of the Medicare Part D program, drug availability and prices.

Seating is limited so please arrive early.

Brown graduated from Oregon State University School of Pharmacy and has worked in various venues and positions (independent and chain retail, staff and clinical hospitals, clinical drug studies and pharmacology instruction) in Arizona, Oregon, Washington and Saudi Arabia.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic—Sequim’s free clinic. The clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members. Clinic work is supported by more than 70 volunteers, including physicians, other professional health care providers and laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.

The Basic Urgent Care Clinic is open to patients on Monday and Thursday evenings beginning at 5 p.m.
