KONP will expand its play-by-play broadcasts this football season to include both Sequim and Port Angeles high schools.

On Friday nights, listeners can hear the longtime voice of the Roughriders provide live play-by-play of all the Port Angeles games over the air at AM 1450 and FM 101.7 plus online at KONP.com.

Dan Kari, the voice of the Wolves, provides a live play-by-play stream of the Wolves’ games at KONP.com Friday night. Listeners can click on the appropriate school logo to get the stream.

This year, KONP also will air a rebroadcast of the Sequim Wolves’ games over the air on Saturdays.

Listeners to AM 1450 and FM 101.7 can hear the broadcast most Saturdays at 1 p.m. The start time could be moved earlier in the day depending on the kickoff time for Washington Huskies’ broadcasts on Saturday afternoon or evening.

The expanded coverage begins this Friday-Saturday, Sept. 6-7.
