Woodturners to learn from California artist
The next Strait Turners Woodturning Club is set for noon on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road.
The meeting will feature Mike Mahoney, a world class wood turner from California; the interactive meeting will be conducted via the internet. Club members say this is an opportunity to learn from one of the best.
The meeting also features a wood auction. It’s a great chance to pick up a unique specimen for that interesting project.
New turners welcome. Cost is a $5 door fee for non-members.
