The COVID-19 Food Care Package distribution program will continue in Sequim through the end of December, with distribution days moving to twice monthly starting this month.

Care packages will be available on the following Wednesdays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Oct. 14, Oct. 28, Nov. 11, Nov. 25, Dec. 9 and Dec. 23.

Drivers are asked to line up at Trinity United Methodist Church on Blake Avenue. They will be directed to volunteers, who will load vehicles with boxes of food.

The program is operated via Sequim’s Emergency Coordination Center (ECC), a combined effort of the City of Sequim, the Sequim School District and Clallam County Fire District 3. The ECC is working in support of the Clallam County Emergency Operations Center under the Clallam County Emergency Management Plan, and serves the Operational Area from Deer Park Road to the eastern Clallam County boundary.
