Soroptimists seek applicants for Live Your Dream award

Soroptimist International of Sequim is accepting applications for the Live Your Dream Award. This education grant is for women who provide the primary financial support for their families and seeks to “give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.”

The cash award of $1,500 may be used to offset any costs associated with efforts to attain higher education, including books, childcare and transportation.

Eligible applicants are attending or have been accepted to a vocational/skills, training/certification program or undergraduate degree program.

Submission deadline is Nov. 15.
