Ex-Wolf of the Week: Lopaka Yasumura

A 2013 Sequim High School grad, Lopaka Yasumura geared up for the Shasta College Knights this fall, capping their season Nov. 21 with a 51-14 win at West Hills Coalinga in the NCFC American Division Championship Bowl.

Yasumura was a two-way player for Shasta in 2015, rushing for 56 yards on 12 carries (4.7 per attempt), 17 yards on two receptions and tallying six tackles in six games.

In the 2012-2013 season, Yasumura was a second-team all-league running back and competed in track and field, placing 10th in the shot put at the state 2A finals.
