Milestone: Hill in wool contest

The state Make It With Wool competition was held on Oct. 25 in Leavenworth. The contest and fashion show involved 18 contestants who modeled garments they had sewn with fabric that was at least 60 percent wool.

Paulette Hill, of Sequim, sculpted a textured wool vest from pastel lavender wool gabardine and sewed a matching slim skirt to enter the adult division.
