Sequim gallery sets open house

To celebrate the gallery’s 24th anniversary, member artists of the Blue Whole Gallery invite the community to a special exhibit “Thank you to the Community.” There will be a two-day open house from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., June 26-27, featuring door prizes and more surprises.

NOLS hosts book group discussions

The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) hosts four virtual Book Discussion Group meetings monthly. Registration through nols.org/book-discussion-groups is required to receive the Zoom meeting info, but all are welcome to participate. Paperback copies of the upcoming book selections will be available for pick up any time after the current month’s discussion.

At 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, the Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group explores “The Dutch House” by Ann Patchett; paperback copies are available at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.

At 6:30 p.m. the same day, the Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group talks about “The Nickel Boys” by Colson Whitehead; paperback copies are available at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
