For two teams with such a storied past, the Sequim Wolves dismissed their host North Mason Bulldogs rather abruptly.

In the process, Sequim moved up in the Olympic League standings.

The Wolves got 14 points from Jayson Brocklesby and 13 points each from Gabe Carter and Corbin Webb in a 55-34 win in Belfair on Jan. 18.

Carter scored 10 points in the first quarter as Sequim took a 14-10 advantage. After the Bulldogs tied it at 14 apiece, the Wolves went on a 12-4 run before half.

Brocklesby scored 10 points in a decisive third quarter, as Sequim pushed the lead to 13 points at 41-28.

Kasey Bielec led the Bulldogs with nine points.
