Women exalted in presentation

Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 73 Howe Road, Agnew, will host speaker Joseph Bednarik presenting “A World Rich in Daughters: Raising Powerful Women,” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 22.

The sermon explores on of the richest resources on the planet — women — and one father’s recent journey in raising two of them.

Bednarik serves as the assistant to the minister in the Pulpit Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Port Townsend. He is the co-publisher of Copper Canyon Press, a nonprofit dedicated to poetry.

Taize service set

All are welcome to the ecumenical Taize service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim, starting at 7 p.m. Monday, March 23. In a meditative candlelit atmosphere which includes singing simple repetitive songs, one may simply sit peacefully during the hour long service or join in the chorus.

Taize will continue to be held the fourth Monday of each month.
