HELEN HALLER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Students in Emily Ellefson’s third-grade class learned about the Winter Olympics. After learning a brief history of the Olympics, the class researched one sport a day, wrote informative paragraphs and added an illustration. Students then had a chance to participate in a curling activity.

Students at Haller had an awesome “Twosday” (2/22/22). Emily Ellefson’s third-grade students did “Twosday” Challenges: building a structure with 22 cups, making an abstract picture with 22 centimeter lines, creating with 22 pipe cleaners, creating with 22 pattern blocks, and figuring out how many ways you can make 22 cents.

All second-grade students received a T-shirt from their teacher that said, “I was in second grade on 2-22-22!” They also did fun activities with the number 2 for the day.

SEQUIM HIGH SCHOOL
