Sequim High School’s basketball squads may be taking a brief respite from studies, but their 2011-2012 hoops schedule doesn’t allow for much of a hiatus.

Sequim’s girls (1-5 in Olympic League play, 1-6 overall) were slated to play a pair of Seattle area games this week, starting at Bishop Blanchet today, Dec. 27. The Wolves take on the Tyee Totems on Dec. 28.

Sequim’s boys (5-1 in league play, 7-1 overall) travel north for two games at Lynden Christian High School. First, the Wolves take on the host Lyncs on Dec. 28, followed by a game against the Sehome Mariners on Dec. 29.

Sequim’s prep teams are back in league play on Jan. 3; the girls host the Kingston Buccaneers while the boys play at league-leading Kingston the same night. The Wolves take on Olympic’s Trojans on Jan. 6.
