Radio forum to take on feet, ankle issues

Dr. Adam Killpack gets to the bottom of feet and ankle problems at the next WOW! Working on Wellness Radio Forum, set for 2-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, on KSQM 91.5 FM.
Killpack’s presentation is titled, “Help, my feet hurt – Foot & Ankle Problems & Care.” A practicing podiatrist providing foot and ankle care, including surgery to patients as part of the Olympic Medical Center Orthopedic Team, Killpack performs preventative care and surgery as well as treating common issues for both feet and ankles such as bunions, ingrown toenails, and injuries like plantar fasciitis.
“There is something enjoyable in every aspect of podiatry,” Killpack said.
He enjoys talking with patients about ways they can keep their feet healthy and how that can make a significant impact on someone’s life. Killpack said that anything he can do to keep someone walking pain-free, no matter how small or large, is very important.
WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic. The clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members. The work is supported by more than 701 volunteers, including physicians, other professional health care providers and laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
The Basic Urgent Care Clinic is open to patients on Monday and Thursday evenings beginning at 5 p.m.
