Milestone: Pinnell moves up

Bo Pinnell of Sequim was promoted to Sergeant on July 3 in Vicenza, Italy.
Here he celebrates the promotion with his wife, Johanna, also a Sequim native.
Pinnell was stationed with an Army Infantry Airborne Unit in Italy for three years and deployed to Afghanistan from there on a nine-month tour. He is a 2010 Sequim High School graduate.
