Sequim Bay Yacht Club (SBYC) assistant treasurer Debbie Denton bought the winning ticket in SBYC’s 2023 quilt raffle, which raised $1,610 toward the club’s annual contribution for Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County.

Raffle tickets bring the club’s 2023 contribution through Dec. 25 to $25,864.42, all of which is designated for respite care for patients.

Later this month, VHOCC will announce the final total raised by SBYC for 2023 and the club’s all-time contributions since its first fundraiser in 1991.

Fundraising for 2024 was kicked off Jan. 1 when four club members participated in the VHOCC Polar Bear Dip.
