Four sent to hospital in highway crash

A two-car collision on U.S. Highway 101 and Kitchen-Dick Road at about 2:45 p.m. sent four to the hospital and detoured traffic on Thursday, Sept. 4.

 

A two-car collision on U.S. Highway 101 and Kitchen-Dick Road at about 2:45 p.m. sent four to the hospital and detoured traffic on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Clallam County Fire District 3 reports the Honda Civic’s passengers, one male age 30, a female age 18, and the Mitsbushi Galant’s passengers, one male age 20 and one female age 23, were all transported to Olympic Memorial Hospital in Port Angeles.

Fire officials report the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Westbound traffic was diverted to Old Olympic Highway and eastbound traffic reduced to one lane.
