Luke is a graduate

Alexa M. Luke of Sequim graduated June 14 from Walla Walla University in College Place, Wa., with a Bachelor of Science Degree in civil engineering with a minor in mathematics and an emphasis in global humanitarian engineering. She is active in Engineers Without Borders and will oversee a village water project in Peru this summer. Her senior project involved designing a new pedestrian bridge for a school in India. She has been accepted at Portland State University for graduate studies in structural engineering.
