KSQM to host eye specialist

Dr. Maximilian Psolka will present a free “WOW! Working on Wellness” radio forum from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 on KSQM FM Radio at 91.5.

Psolka specializes in cornea, cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgery. A retired US Army colonel, Psolka served as a flight surgeon while stationed in Europe. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center before completing a Cornea & Refractive Surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins Institute.

Before joining Northwest Eye Surgeons, he served as chief of Ophthalmology & Refractive Surgery at Keller Army Community Hospital in West Point, New York, and at Carl R. Darnall Army Center in Fort Hood, Texas. He is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic (Sequim’s free clinic). The Clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members. Its work is supported by more than 70 volunteers, including physicians, other professional health care providers and laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
