Spring Bunco set
Sequim Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital is sponsoring a Spring Bunco Party from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, May 2, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave. in Sequim.
Play Bunco, enjoy lunch made by Guild members, and bid on 21 unique silent auction choices, including some that are one-of-a-kind.
Cost is $15 at the door. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

Elks Lodge dance on May 11
Sound Advice will play at the Sequim Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road, from 6-8:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 11.
They will play music for both couples dancing and freestyle dancing. Come enjoy Motown, classic soul and hits from the ’60s and ’70s that will get you movin’ and groovin’.
Cost is $10 for members, $12 for non-members.
Garden Walk on May 10
Join Clallam County Master Gardeners on May 10 for “Second Saturday Garden Walk.” The event will be from 10-11:30 a.m. at Fifth Street Community Garden, 328 E. Fifth Street in Port Angeles.
Special focus will be on helping gardeners know the intricacies of tomato growing success in our maritime climate. Other warm-season crops like peppers, squash and cucumbers will also be discussed.
The monthly walks are free and open to the public and occur rain or shine. They continue through September 13.
The Fifth Street Community Garden, developed on city property in 2011, includes over 50 9×12-foot plots worked by local gardeners.
