Massage therapist expands practice

Bunny Cornwall, licensed master aesthetician and board certified massage therapist, has expanded her practice by including Intense Pulsed Light therapy.

IPL treatments use short bursts of high-intensity light to penetrate the skin’s surface, damaging the melanin that creates brown spots or the vessels that create raised capillaries. IPL also targets the pigment in your hair with the result being a permanent hair reduction with no downtime.

Wells Fargo grant helps families

An award from Wells Fargo Foundation will help stabilize housing for families with young children, who are assisted by Serenity House of Clallam County Housing Resource Centers.

The $1,000 Wells Fargo grant is earmarked to aid households headed by young adults, ages 18-24, with extremely low incomes, said Serenity House business manager Herta Fairbanks.

In addition to the funds, Wells Fargo will donate employees’ time to lead “financial management classes for every age group,” said Tia Owens, Port Angeles branch manager, who delivered the check on Oct. 8.
