New hours for Wind Rose

Wind Rose Cellars, 143 W. Washington St., Sequim, is changing its hours effective Sept. 1 to 1-8 p.m. Wednesdays, 1-10 p.m. Thursdays-Fridays and noon-10 p.m. Saturdays.

First anniversary celebrated

Customer appreciation day planned

The public is invited to a free customer appreciation event as Angeles Millwork & Lumber Co., 1601 S. C St., commemorates its 109th anniversary. The event runs from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9. Attendees can enjoy a barbecue lunch, visit with vendors, see product samples and demonstrations, enter to win door prizes and have questions answered.
