What’s New at the Farmers Market: Sounds of Sequim takes the stage this Saturday

Our summer music series is back! Starting Saturday, June 24, the Sounds of Sequim: Summer Music Series brings live musical performances from beloved local bands to your friendly neighborhood farmers market over the summer months.

Mixed Company, a local favorite on the Olympic Peninsula since 2014, will kick things off, playing from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on June 24. Mixed Company blends a number of genres on their instruments, for a unique, “mixed” listening experience.

Crowd favorites such as Nightingale, Anderson Lake Swamp Thing, Backwood Hucksters, At Large, and Clifford Okamoto will join the Sounds of Sequim line-up throughout the summer season.

The Sounds of Sequim: Summer Music Series is made possible by Olympic Onion. Market vendor Vince Gipson also serves as our volunteer music coordinator. We want to thank him for putting together an amazing program for our market visitors.

Admission, of course, is free. We welcome the public to swing by, groove along, and listen to the incredible talent that Olympic Peninsula has to offer.

Sounds of Sequim: A Summer Music Series takes place at the Sequim Farmers and Artisans Market, located at 152 W. Cedar St., every Saturday from mid-June to August, between 11 a.m.-2 p.m., with 15-minute breaks for musicians at the top of each hour. The regular market hours operate from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Bailey Loveless is the market director of the Sequim Farmers & Artisans Market.
