‘Harvest of Harmony’ coming to Sequim, Port Angeles

The Grand Olympics Chorus of Sweet Adelines International announces their fall fundraising event, Harvest of Harmony, with shows in late October — one in Sequim, another in Port Angeles.

This event supports local performances and scholarships.

The Oct. 27 show is at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 South Blake Ave., Sequim, and will include a performance by the Olympic Theatre Arts students while the Oct. 28 show is at the First Presbyterian Church, 139 W. Eighth St., Port Angeles, and will include a performance by the Port Angeles High School Chorus women’s group, Bella Voce.

Both shows will include the Grand Olympics Chorus, chorus quartets and The Flashbacks, a music group that includes three chorus members.

Harvest of Harmony will also include two a cappella quartets: Joyful Noise and Resound. Joyful Noise specializes in Gospel music and Resound sings 1950s and 1960s rock.

Shows start at 2:30 p.m. and include a silent auction, raffle and light refreshments.

Tickets are $15 and are available at Over the Fence in Sequim, Port Books and News in Port Angeles, and on BrownPaperTickets.com.
