Milestone: Grove named Elks Student of Month

Kalli Grove, a sophomore at Sequim high School, was recently selected Student of the Month for January 2023 by the Sequim Elks.

The daughter of Kirsten and Robert Grove, she maintains a 3.8 grade-point-average.

Grove’s high school courses include World History, Geometry, Food Safety, Science, Floral Design, Spanish I and 10th grade ELA Honors. Her favorite subject is mathematics.

She plays on the high school soccer team and also volunteers her time as a referee for Sequim Junior Soccer.

Grove and her family moved to Sequim about one-and-a-half years ago from Colorado, and while she said she was initially happy with the move she’s glad her family did.

Grove’s future plans are to become successful doing something she loves and to be happy, Elks representatives said.
