Milestone: Home Health Manager earns leadership award

Olympic Medical Center CEO Eric Lewis presented a Leadership Award to Laura Anderson, a Lifeline and payroll technician manager for Olympic Medical Home Health, at a department management meeting in late November.

Anderson oversees the scheduling and billing for more than 60 home visit nurses, therapists, aides and medical social workers who care for patients throughout Clallam and West Jefferson counties.

She also manages the Phillips Lifeline service.

“Laura is extraordinary in the amount, extent and degree in which she tackles the demands of her roles at Home Health,” Joan Warren, director of Olympic Medical Home Health, said. “She handles any situation that may arise and makes it look easy. She is such an asset to the department.”

Anderson has been with Olympic Medical for 19 years and in her present role for the past 10 years.

Lifeline is locally owned and operated by Olympic Medical Home Health.
