Luke Rocha, a sophomore at Sequim High School, was named Sequim Elks Lodge’s Student of the Month for February 2023.

Rocha, the son of Michael Rocha, maintains a 3.975 grade-point-average and his favorite subject is chemistry.

His present courses include world history, English, photography, chemistry, Spanish and geometry.

Rocha’s family moved to Sequim seven years ago from San Louis Obispo, Calif. He enjoys playing soccer, hang out with his friends, participate in motor sports and ride dirt bikes.

Rocha is interested in either joining the military or becoming a plumber.
