Radio forum to spotlight mental health challenges among youth

The next WOW! Working on Wellness radio forum looks to offer inter-generational advice when Dr. Joshua Jones, chief physicians officer at Olympic Medical Physicians, speaks about “Current Youth Mental Health Issues: How To Help Your Kids And Grandkids” at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10 on KSQM 91.5 FM.

Learn about the latest thoughts on youth mental health and how to help children and grandchildren through modern times. Jones joined Olympic Medical Center’s physician division as CPO in the fall of 2016. He is a board-certified general and forensic psychiatrist and a well-established physician in Clallam County. He comes to Olympic Medical Physicians after serving for six years as medical director at Peninsula Behavioral Health.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic, which provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members. Work is supported by more than 70 volunteers including physicians, other professional health care providers an laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
